WES（World Education Services）成立于1974年，是美国的非营利性组织。它为有意在美国或加拿大留学或工作的人提供成绩认证，是北美较大的资历评估公司，其评估认证报告在美国高校中使用非常普遍。每年九月是留学申请的高峰季节，在留学的各个国家中，美国留学成绩单认证是必不可少的一环。所以，对于想去北美留学或将来有需要在北美找工作甚至移民的伙伴来说，进行WES成绩认证，是很有必要的。从2018年7月开始，中国学位及教育文凭持有者申请WES认证，可以直接由学生的本科学校的学籍管理处或学生本人（要求密封）寄出认证的相关材料。

哪些人需要进行WES认证？
什么类型的同学需要WES认证？
在众多需要进行WES认证的人群中，申请美国留学的学生居多，在申请留美的学生中，进行WES认证的主要分为以下三个大类：
申请本科的同学
本科对WES的需求相对较少，这类同学在进行WES之前，可以先查询申请的意向是否需要做WES申请。
申请转学的同学
这类同学对WES认证需求是在这三类型学生里较大的。要求转学生提供WES认证的院校其主要原因在于美国采用的是学分制，他们不太理解中国学校中的80分、90分等分数的概念，有些学校会委托第三方认证机构帮他做评估。
申请研究生的同学
研究生申请对WES的需求专业间的差异很大，需求主要集中在商学院。同学们在办理WES之前较好也先和学校方联系看该专业是否需要WES认证。
如何完成WES认证
简单来说，完成WES只有三步：
先进步，在WES官网填写信息；
第二步，在教育部学位中心CDGDC或CHESICC学信网官网填写信息；
第三步，向WES邮寄材料。学信网全国认证中心的说明上写：1. 办理英文认证报告或英文成绩单认证，需先办理中文认证报告或中文成绩单认证；2. 办理成绩单认证，需由专业的翻译机构盖章。
注：专科学历认证需要寄送纸质的中英文成绩单和身份证明；
WES认证文件去哪儿翻译？
