通过回译检测译文质量

翻译质量评估问题是翻译行业具有根本性的问题，对翻译质量提高、促进翻译事业发展有着极其重要的意义。学术界对此长期研究，争论不休，很难形成统一的意见。在机器翻译日益成熟，翻译软件不断完善的背景下，采用谷歌翻译软件，对译文进行回译，从而较易对原译文的准确性、流畅性、完整性等评估指标做出基本判断。下文选取现代散文名篇《落花生》的开头一段进行对比，

对翻译人员有一定的启发作用。

我们窝后有半亩隙地。母亲说：“让它荒芜着怪可惜，既然你们那么爱吃花生，就辟来做花生园罢。”’我们几姊弟和几个小丫头都很喜欢---------买种的买种，动土的动土，灌园的灌园；过不了几个月，居然收获了。

pity to let it lie waste like that,” Mother said. “ Since you all enjoy

eating peanuts, let us open it up and make it a peanut garden.” At that

my brother, sister and I were all delighted and so were the young

housemaids. And then some went to buy seeds, some began to dig the

ground and others watered it and, in a couple of months, we had a

harvest.
